The result, almost all participants showed a decrease in brain waves when given pink noise just now. It makes them sleep more soundly.

Normally, everyone can listen to pink noise to be able to sleep more soundly. However, for people who have sleep disorders, listen pink noise will make it difficult for them to recognize other sound sources.

Although the research shows that pink noise can make you sleep more soundly, more research is still needed to really know the benefits of this sound frequency for sleep quality.

Tips on getting good sleep quality besides pink noise

Although pink noise can indeed help you sleep more soundly, this is not the only thing you can do to improve sleep.

There are a number of other things you can do to make you sleep better, including:

  • Discipline follows the sleep schedule. Try to get up and sleep at the same time every day.
  • Avoid caffeinated drinks and nicotine compounds a few hours before bedtime so you can close your eyes on time.
  • Dim or turn off the lights. Bright light can stimulate the brain to continue to be active and make you have trouble sleeping.
  • Don't take a nap for more than 30 minutes so you don't wake up at night.

Although there are indeed some studies that say that pink noise can help you sleep more soundly, the most important is the routine before going to sleep and improving lifestyle.

If you stay up too late or drink caffeinated beverages, like coffee before bedtime, of course pink noise will not be too helpful for you to sleep better.
